Cocktail Schematics

My neighbour is an engineer. And when he had a cocktail night a couple of weeks ago he pulled out this Engineering schematic for popular cocktails (from here – where it is bigger).

That’s all well and good. But these Flickr visualisations exist for the rest of us (ie those who can’t read technical drawings).

Cuffdrinks

Carrying a bottle opener on your key ring is a great way to subtly let other Christians know they can comfortably bring alcohol to your house when you invite them round for dinner. If you’re not comfortable with such an overt method of communication perhaps you’d prefer these bottle opening cuff links.

Winefographic

Ever wondered how Australia stacks up as a consumer of wine – we all know Australia produces good stuff… Here’s an infographic.

There’s a “key” of sorts with the comparison between Luxembourg and Brazil. It’s calculated per capita.

Pouch potato

In space nobody can hear you scream. Which is lucky. Because it’s pretty difficult to get down to the pub for a beer and imagine astronaut after astronaut has wrestled with that problem. Until now. Because now, they can just pack their beer into a sealed pouch to ship off to space with all the other sealed stuff… I bet you could even seal up that delicious bacon vodka.

For those of us not going to space this is just a handy way to transport your beers in a less rigid container that can then be used as a mini pillow to go with your leftover cask wine bags.
