Nobody framed Roger Rabbit

Movies go too long. About 90 minutes too long in some cases. At least according to this site – which condenses movies into four frames. Unfortunately there’s no framing of Roger Rabbit there – which is a shame, because it would have worked nicely with my heading. Oh well. Here’s four movies in 16 frames.

Any guesses on the movies featured here? First one to get all four gets a great intangible prize.

Advanced Origami

This is quite incredible – a series of pictures essentially folded into sheets of paper.

Giant tool

That’s what I’d call anyone who carries this Swiss Army Knife featuring 110 “tools”. It doesn’t even fit in your pocket. Pretty much missing the whole “pocket knife” concept. I suspect you have to put the knife on the ground and throw whatever you want to chop at the blade.

Hitting the right note

If you’re more advanced than those who consider beans the musical fruit – but still not above a little bit of an orchestral performance in the bathroom then these toilet seats (priced at about $US169 each) are for you…

A salt and battery

This is a beautiful, hopefully pun inspired, piece of kitchen design. From this Turkish designer.

Found here.

Get soap in all the right places

It can be challenging to get Tetris pieces in the right place at the right time, just as it can be challenging to get soap into all the nooks and crannies… ok, that’s probably more talk about bathing than you can handled, particularly if you visualise things as you read… these Tetris soaps from Etsy might help.

3D pong

This is a beautifully rendered version of the classic computer game pong – well, actually, it’s a 3D rendering of a 2D rendering of a 3D game – that is to say it’s just Table Tennis – with a table designed to look like Pong. Confused? Well check it out – it’s from this guy

‘snot a good idea

Here’s a classy addition for your next birthday celebration – or in fact any candle lit dinner party. Noice. Some would say a bargain at $US3.99.

There’s also his Mustard companion

Bran-ded data

Cereal and computers don’t mix. Trust me. I’m speaking from experience when it comes to mixing milk and circuitry. This guy has found a way to turn this all into a winning formula

Peripheral vision

Turns out when it comes to Transformers peripherals there’s more than initially meets the eye. Not only can you get the awesome transformers thumb drive I put up the other day – you can get a matching USB hub – or a mouse… from here.

The Hub goes from this:

… to this

Then there are two mice to choose from:

Calendar with stigmata attached

It’s 2009 AD – that’s Anno Domini – the year of our Lord. You probably know this, others may need constant reminding – which is why you should install this calendar in your office cubicle. It’ll no doubt be a great tool for office evangelism – or for ruling right angles/architectural drawings.
