How to get rid of telemarketers

Sick of your dinner being interrupted by telemarketers? Too stupid to put yourself on the “do not call register“?

Follow this scientifically tested script.

Or you could try my trick – engage them in conversation, pretend you’re interested, and then just stop talking. Works every time.

A couple of female friends of mine used to have a competition to try and move the conversation towards a marriage proposal. It was usually aimed at Indian telemarketers. All that was need was a good indian accent, a few personal questions and the mention that they were studying medicine in Australia. I think the record for a proposal of marriage was 10 min!

That is hilarious. It’s almost worth undoing my registration to the do not call register.

That is fantastic. It's almost worth deregistering from the do not call register.

"Sick of your dinner being interrupted by telemarketers? Too stupid to put yourself on the “do not call register“?" Don't own your phone account and are therefore unable to put your phone number on the "do not call' register?

I know a guy who once pretended he was going to buy what the telemarketer was selling, said "let me go get my credit card", put the phone down, walked away, and didn't return.
