Introducing the Skinwich. Apparently being tested in KFCs throughout America. It’s every chicken lover’s dream. Because everybody knows the skin is the best bit of the chicken.

It’s a beautiful case of turning byproducts into products. All those people wanting their “skinless chicken fillets” for “health reasons”…

KFC pulled its “racist” ad this week. And apologised. Dumb.

American cultural imperialism is perhaps the most annoying thing about our buddies in the coalition of the willing. Especially when they are ascribing flaws in their own character to the rest of the world. Nobody else thinks fried chicken is “black people’s food”. We all kind of missed that.

What I’d like to see KFC do is produce a follow up ad. A man standing in a crowd of angry fat Americans. A crowd he calms by the power of fried chicken.

That is all.

A guy from the US reckons he’s cracked the culinary code – and he runs a website that provides all sorts of “secret recipes”… here’s his guesstimate of what’s in KFC chicken pieces box…

— 1 teaspoon ground oregano

— 1 teaspoon chili powder

— 1 teaspoon ground sage

— 1 teaspoon dried basil

— 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
