It’s Pac time

My love for cereal is well documented. Cereal should be one of the five food groups… Beer, Bacon, Coffee, Chocolate and Cereal.

This, I believe, is the pinnacle of cereal theming – the Pacman breakfast cereal, featuring marshmallows.

From this site – dedicated to collecting details about the breakfast cereals of today for the cerealphiles of tomorrow…

Ate bit cakes

Mmm, nutritious, eight bit, and delicious. Just how I like my cakes.

This Mario Cupcake family (from Flickr) is beautiful.

But this Pacman cake (also from Flickr) really, well, takes the cake…

And for those who like arty cakes… I give you a Van Gogh (also from Flickr).

Raving: all about Pacman

Who says people aren’t influenced by the games they play…

From here.

8-Bit Toast

Mmm, never eat raw toast again. Well, except for the bits you keep artistically bready in order to create this fantastically geeky breakfast art.

Instructions for building your own artistic toast makers can be found here at instructables.

Pacman meets the flintstone

Quite literally. So long as zippos ignite the fuel using flint. I’m really not sure about that, but I’m running out of Pacman headlines. This is cool

Pacmanwich

A manwich is apparently a sloppy joe sandwich. So a Pacmanwich is one of those shaped like Pacman. Read about it and other insane sandwiches at insanewiches.com.

Too Pac? Not in this hood

That title right there folks is a hip hop reference. It’s just for Ben.

The rest of this post is simply to inform you that if you truly love me you should buy me this for Christmas – or my birthday – it is the same day so I’ll even let you get away with combining the presents…

Pac chair

These Pac Man chairs look like a big yellow circle of comfort.

Pieces of eight bit

This video is rightly being hailed as the best lego stop motion 8-bit tribute of all time.

It’s a pretty small pool I guess – but all the typical post fodder is included – Pacman, Mario and Tetris make an appearance…

Reliving the classics

I’ve posted a bunch of games in real life type things before, but none has been as beautiful as this collection. They really are nice. And all my favourites are there – Pacman, Tetris and Space Invaders. Can’t go wrong really.

If (boring) games were movies…

We’ve all seen what happens when popular games become movies. Like Hitman. And Doom. And Super Mario Bros. They never live up to the hype.

Crap games*. Or not particularly complex games. Make for awesomeness.

*These games are not technically crap.

Pacman Punk’d

I haven’t really been excited about the whole “steampunk” thing. Attaching brass and copper plating to current technology to make it look like you’re from some Back to the Future prequel isn’t that cool… unless you’ve built a pacman arcade game out of cogs and levers

Now, that’s cool.

Pac Axe

Here’s something every mathcore lead guitarist needs. A Pacman guitar. Unfortunately it’s one of a kind. But it was made by these guys… so you can probably order another one.

The dots on the neck even light up.

Plushman

Pacman memorabilia is a dime a dozen. But plush pacman toys that will run around your floor are all too rare. You can buy the yellow guy here

You can get the ghosts too – and it doesn’t come down to your ability…

You can just purchase them here
