– This is sad. Belkin were offering to pay people – using Amazon’s mechanical turk platform – to write positive reviews of their products. Glowing reviews. Seriously – if you think you need to pay someone 80 cents to write a positive review of your product you probably shouldn’t be selling your product. This article predicts an imminent denial from the company – which did come. But I can’t help but think that this behaviour was sanctioned and not some random act of company loyalty.
