These are cool. And official. Lego official. Lego ice brick moulds.
Then you can make little ice minifigs to go with it.

I’m not sure that encouraging one’s children to build Angry Birds out of Lego and building things for them to knock down with a slingshot is a good idea. But here are some Angry Birds in Lego for your inspiration:

Lego ads are fun. Here’s another one.

Jack Streat builds guns. Awesome guns. Made out of Lego. They fire lego bullets. This is what happens when boys don’t stop playing with their toys. There are videos of his guns in working order on YouTube.
I like Lego stop motion videos and I can not lie. I don’t even care if it uses Star Wars’ concepts as the basis for the narrative. This is cool.
I had a housemate who could solve a Rubik’s Cube in under two minutes. Every time. It’s just a matter of understanding the fundamental principles of the Rubik’s Cube and applying that understanding with dexterity.
Two minutes is impressive. Twelve seconds is amazing. And that’s how fast this Lego robot solves the cube.
Watch it in action.
McDonalds makes you go “mmm” then “urgh”… Lego just makes you go “hmm” and then “ahh”, and this little video made me go “aww”.
This Lego ad in the guise of a short film is possibly the greatest thing ever put on YouTube. It made me smile and feel all warm and gooey inside. And if I had my childhood Lego collection in the house I would be playing with it now instead of sharing it with you.
It seems that everybody on the Internet wants to be known for a unique version of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.
Here are a few different videos for your prog-rock listening pleasure.
There are more where that came from…
Here’s an interesting factoid about Lego for your next dinner party:
LEGO currently produces over 900 distinct LEGO pieces, or “elements” as they call them? Over the course of their history, there have been almost 13,000 distinct elements created. Now, that number includes variations in color and material, but even if you exclude those permutations, you’re still left with a staggering 2,800 different elements in the LEGO line.
It’s from this article about Lego, Play-Doh and programming.
Lego stop motion videos are one of my favourite things. And I’ve got a soft spot for hip-hop. The Wu Tang Clan have never been my cup of tea – but this Lego version of their Chess Boxing video is pretty cool.
While I may not have succumbed to the temptation to post the JK Wedding Dance that everybody in the world loved I will succumb to posting the Lego version.
